Intermediate Coach Accreditation

The second step on the coaching pathway is the Intermediate Coach Accreditation. You've now learnt the basics so now you can choose the Gymsport you would like to coach. Once you have chosen a Gymsport you will learn all the drills and progressions unique to whichever Gymsport you have chosen. An Intermediate accreditation allows coaches to coach independently, teach all the skills in the Intermediate Skills Matrix and take athletes to lower level competitions.

There is no limit on the amount of Gymsport accreditations you can hold, so if you can't decide on just one, its no problem! As you gain more experience with your coaching you may find that you would like to gain another accreditation to expand on your knowledge or for Professional Development.

Intermediate Accreditation Prerequisites

3. Complete the Intermediate workbook including 20 hours of supervised coaching signed off by your Gymnastics Australia qualified supervisor
