The coaches stream will focus heavily on a wide range of skill based workshops that aim to equip you with new and innovative strategies to help with your role as a gymnastics coach. All Technical Members are welcome to attend any one of the sessions within each category across the two days. 

Cost:

- 1-day early bird (ends 30th November 2017) - $185
- 2-day early bird (ends 30th November 2017 - $280

- 1-day normal rate (from 1st December 2017) - $200

MAG 2018-2014 ALP Masterclass

After a year-long consultative process, the 2018-2021 ALP has now been released, which comes into effect as of 1st January 2018. A weekend of workshops have been specifically designed to assist current MAG coaches in understanding the new routines, regulations and deductions in the manual. A must for all current MAG coaches! 
* Please note that all the lectures for MAG are different as each workshop will focus on a different apparatus

Managing Training Effectively 

Do your athletes train on fewer hours a week? Learn how to maximise your class time and get the most out of your gymnasts through effective scheduling and a program that centres around making every minute count. 

Coaching athletes living with a disability

How inclusive is your club?  This workshop focuses on raising awareness around working with people with disabilities. If you’re looking for effective coaching techniques in this important area than this workshop is a must!

Competition Preparation

Where do I start? How can I maximise the athlete’s potential to perform at their best when it comes to competition times? How can I sustain their peak performance during a long competition season? What strategies can I incorporate into a daily training environment to ensure my athlete is ready for competition?

Games with Purpose

Games can be used to illustrate a point, lead into a teaching session or achieve a purpose. This practical workshop will help coaches understand how games can be used to teach children life and gymnastics skills.
