Danielle Le Ray - Owner and Head Coach - Le Ray Academy

With over 25 years’ experience comprising of training, competing, mentoring and coaching, Dani Le Ray has played a significant role in NSW and Australian Rhythmic Gymnastics history. 

As an athlete, Dani was Australia’s sole Rhythmic Gymnastics Representative at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and remains the highest ranked Australian RG competitor at an Olympic Games. Dani was also a member of the Bronze medal-winning Team, representing Australia at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur.

As a High Performance coach, Dani has been the recipient of multiple ‘Coach of the Year’ awards across both the Levels and Elite streams in NSW and Australia. These awards are in recognition of Dani’s support and guidance provided to NSW High Performance athletes at major National and International events.

In 2012, Dani held the role of the Australian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team’s Head Coach at the Delhi Commonwealth Games and played a vital role in Naazmi Johnston’s success, including achieving Australian Team Gold, Individual All Round Gold as well as a further 2 Silver and 1 Gold medal in the Individual events.

Tatiana Kozadaeva - High Performance Coach - Le Ray Academy

As a talented Russian-born gymnast, beginning her Rhythmic Gymnastics training when she was five years old, Tatiana joins our new High Performance Coaching Team to assist in the future development of our NSW athletes in preparation for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and beyond.  

Tatiana commenced her illustrious Rhythmic Gymnastics career as an athlete where she excelled as a member of the Russian National Team from 2001-2004 and reached the level of ‘Master Sport’.  She went on to form a dedicated high performance coaching consulting company with Irina Belova (Olympic champion) and in this role worked in collaboration with many of the world’s leading clubs, governments and organisations to improve the standard of their gymnasts.   

Tatiana brings a wealth of international experience to the High Performance Centre having most recently worked with gymnastics from Japan, Malaysia and Singapore, where she held the title of Head Coach, responsible for training the team to be at Olympic qualifying standard.  Tatiana was instrumental in improving their technique, training programs, choreography and apparatus skills, leading the Singapore gymnasts successfully through internal Singapore Government and Asian competitions.  In 2016 she has been consulting for the Portuguese and Italian Federations of Gymnastics, developing long term training plans for their National Teams and travelling to many international clinics and camps over the past few months.  

Delia Halmu - High Performance Coach - MLC School Gymnastics

In her long and highly successful career. Delia has attended over 200 international Rhythmic Gymnastics competitions, both as a coach and judge. In 2017, Delia was awarded the highest judging accreditation in Australia. Delia has coached numerous World Championship, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games Teams, including Sydney 2000 Olympian (and fellow High Performance Coach) Danielle Le Ray. 

As a High Performance coach, Delia has been the recipient of multiple ‘Coach of the Year’ awards in recognition for her outstanding performance both in  NSW and Australia.
