Women's Gymnastics - Tier 2 Clubs

Carmel and Co Gymnastics

Carmel & Co encourage team work and good sportsmanship. They strive to help every gymnast to reach their potential through hard work and discipline (although they do have loads of fun too!) The Women's Competitive Gymnastics program has a proud history and the girls continue to win medals and trophies at state and national championships.

To enter the Women's Competitive Gymnastics levels program,  coaches must first assess the gymnast to ensure some minimum benchmarks are met. As children develop their gymnastics skills and routines, they will progress through the national levels system from level 1 to 10 (or elite levels system for the especially dedicated and talented).

Australian Academy of Gymnastics

The Australian Academy of Gymnastics is the home of sporting champions and all lovers of gymnastics, catering to the diverse and eclectic local community of Sydney’s inner south west. The family-run club offers programs for all ages and abilities, boasts a fully accredited coaching staff and affords all members the opportunity to develop and realise their full potential in the well recognised and respected sport of gymnastics.

Antoine Rizzo heads the team of enthusiastic and friendly coaches at AAG and is a respected and valued member of the gymnastics community state wide and nationally.

The Rizzo name has been long established within this community through the work of Antoine’s parents, Edwige and Andre Rizzo and in the legacies of his brother Blaise, a national and international competitor in the 1980’s and the achievements of Australia’s most successful male gymnast to date, Philippe Rizzo.
