GENERAL INFORMATION
Gymnastics NSW aims to deliver high quality education programs and professional development opportunities throughout our state.
Education events are coordinated by the Education Officer and delivered to the wider community by highly trained and dedicated Gymnastics Presenters.
The following information outlines the process of gaining a nationally recognized gymnastics Coaching Qualification. Should you require further information about another area of coach training, including teacher education, contact the Gymnastics NSW office 02 8116 4101 or education@gymnsw.org.au
After completing the Beginning Coaching General principles, coaches can follow the pathway through each coaching level.
Beginner or Level 1 Course are offered in all gym sports - ACRO, AER, CHL, GFA, KG, MG, RG, WG.
The Advanced or Level 2 Courses are offered in these gym sports - MG, WG, RG, TRP.
Currently there are no Level 2 sport specific courses for ACRO or AER – however ACRO and AER coaches can start the level 2 process by completing parts 1, 2 and 4.
