Congratulations Gymnastics NSW, Songliang Xiong and John Hendry

It is with pleasure that we report that Songliang Xiong and John Hendry have been named as finalists in the category of 'Coach of the Year' and 'Distinguished Service Award' respectively for the coming NSW Sports Awards which are scheduled to occur on the 18 February 2010. Xiong was previously named as a finalist in 2006 following Prashanths outstanding success at the World Championships, hopefully its second time lucky following Prashanths outstanding success at the World Championships last year.

Pleasingly Gymnastics NSW has been named a finalist in the Sporting Organisation of the Year Category, an award Gymnastics NSW secured in 2006. This years division will be hotly contested with Surf Life Saving, Football NSW, Riding for the Disabled and Sailability NSW.
