The Gymnastics NSW Board hold the ultimate responsibility for the organisation in accordance
with the constitution to make decisions based on what is in the best interest of the organisation and its members.
Elite does not mean elitist. Our top-level athletes, coaches, and administrators should actively participate and provide leadership to build the profile, impart their knowledge and encourage participation in the sport at all levels

My role in managing one of the larger clubs in NSW at the time has provided me with an excellent understanding of the day-to-day challenges, coaching and staffing issues, WHS, Industrial Relations, Mental Health support, safety in the Gym, Volunteering and equipment needs.

My primary motivation for nominating to the Board is to guide strategies to make our sport more accessible to all communities through NSW and to develop fun team-based lighter competitive programs to bridge the gap between recreational and elite athletes.

My industry knowledge, business acumen, experience in combining risk and governance with community minded
organisational strategic outcomes will greatly assist the Gymnastics NSW board to look at practical and
meaningful ways take the next step forward in its ability to assist its members and clubs to grow, to expand its
reach into the future and which in turn will increase the participation base exponentially.
